The Elan Mission
At Elan Energy Matrix, we’re redefining what it means to recycle. Based in Western Australia, we are pioneering a waste-free process that aims to recover 100 percent of raw materials from end-of-life tyres.
These are transformed into valuable resources including Carbon Matrix, Light Oil, and Milled Steel. With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and local impact, our facility operates with low emissions and no contribution to landfill.
We work closely with industry, government, and community partners to deliver smarter and cleaner solutions for tyre recovery. Our mission is to support a circular economy and a cleaner future for all of Western Australia.
What We Do
Tyre Collections
Elan tyre collections: We strive to provide superior service to our customers. We offer customised collections (including before- and afterhours collections) to suit our customers.
Our digital invoicing system is a time saver and offers a paper-reduced alternative, in line with our environmental ethos.
Tyre Recycling & Processing
Elan tyre processing: Elan processes collected and dropped off tyres in our state-of-the-art facility in Welshpool.
Elan has been investing in processing technologies specialising in tyres which will enable us to truly recover the resources within, reducing the use of raw materials whilst enhancing the use of recovered raw materials in manufacturing.

OUR VISION
Environmentally-Friendly Recovered Raw Materials
Elan Recovered
Light Oil
Its Elan’s vision to recover Light Oil from waste tyres.
Being already semi-refined, this recovered Light Oil is more beneficial and requires less energy than crude oil.
These are significant savings which will also make for a cleaner environment.
Elan Recovered
Carbon Matrix
Elan’s sustainable technology will be recovering Carbon Matrix from waste tyres.
Carbon Matrix contains far less impurities and is up to three times more energy-efficient than mined coal.
A result that encompasses considerably less impact on the environment.
Elan Recovered
Milled Steel
As well as sustainable Carbon Matrix and Light Oil, Milled Steel will also be recovered from Elan’s Tyre Resource Recovery Facility which also provides sizeable benefits to the environment.
